Delivering an Open Utility Trailer with a Stable Tandem Axle Ride
When you’re hauling big loads in an open utility trailer, you need stability. Especially when riding on the highway, a tandem axle trailer offers a more solid foundation for higher speeds, and is less prone to sway than a single axle trailer. When it comes to Everlite’s UT 82x14TE2, this aluminum open trailer offers a lot of room for cargo, plus the strength and stability of two axles.
With a tube aluminum frame (A-frame, mainframe and crossmembers), this model has a 1,220-lb. curb weight, and is nearly 7 feet wide by 14 feet long. It boasts standard 4” drop 3,500-lb. spring axles with electric brakes on both axles, plus EZ lube hubs and 15” radial tires. Plus, loading your cargo is easy with the fold-down ramp gate. The UT 82x14TE2 also comes standard with a 2,000-lb. tongue jack, loop tie-off rings, and all LED lights for security and safety.
Want more? Easily upgrade with optional equipment, including ATP-lined side rails, a bi-fold ramp gate, an additional loop tie-off ring, a 5,000-lb. recessed floor D-ring, and an extruded aluminum floor (upgraded to 16” on center crossmembers).
Your local Everlite dealer will show you all the features of the UT 82x14TE2 and answer any questions you may have about the work it can do for you.
